Brigitte Handley formed her band RED HOT & BLUE in 1998 to embark on the city of Sydney, Australia for the 'Rockabilly Deluxe Tour'. The band played to such rave reviews that it was decided that the band should keep gigging and has been ever since!
The release of the debut EP "Brigitte Handley, RED HOT & BLUE" proved be to a huge success, selling out at their shows for the 1999 Wintersun Festival in Queensland, Australia.
In 1999 Brigitte teamed up with the talents of fellow rockabilly cat Stu who initially joined the band to play drums but is now playing lead guitar. Stu brought a new energy to the band with his crazy rhythms & great voice. Over the past few months Brigitte has been working closely with Stu and double bass player Angus writing songs and working on their live show.
